Lowcountry Food Bank
Every day, the Lowcountry Food Bank is leading the fight against hunger in our community. Our data and experience indicate that food insecurity remains a serious problem in coastal South Carolina, impacting nearly 13% of our neighbors. Through partnerships with schools to feed children, preparing nutritious meals for seniors and veterans, empowering parents to make healthy food choices, distributing fresh produce to our neighbors, and working with healthcare partners to address the link between health outcomes and food security, we work with our community to address the root causes of hunger and provide food for those who are food insecure.
Youth to Ocean (Y2O)
Youth to Ocean’s goal is to provide positive youth development through opportunities in water sports, environmental education, and exploration of nature, especially for underserved and at-risk youth.
